Audit

Under the leadership of the Board of Directors, these volunteers would perform the annual audit of ReVitalize St. Louis/Rehabbers Club’s financials. Following GAAP, city, state, and federal laws. Discretion is required.

Built Environment

Under the leadership of the Built Environment Chair, these volunteers would monitor the preservation/renovation of St. Louis’ architectural heritage and the development of new real estate projects.  Action items may include:

  • Attending Preservation Board Meetings
  • Monitoring real estate and preservation blogs, newspaper articles, and other media
  • Creating reports for monthly board meetings on development and rehabbing activities.
  • Lobbying alderman, city, state and federal officials on behalf of the St. Louis Rehabbers Club and its members

Marketing

Under the leadership of the Marketing Chair, these volunteers would strategize the key messages and develop the support materials increase awareness of the St. Louis Rehabbers Club, its programs, and purpose.  Action items may include:

  • Posters/flyers/banners for programming
  • Social Media sites – regular updates and maintenance
  • Website content
  • Draft press releases
  • Contact media outlets and pitch story ideas
  • Develop copy and collateral materials for press kits
  • Membership brochure

Membership and Fundraising

Under the leadership of the Board of Directors, primarily the Programming and Treasurer Chair, these volunteers would develop programs to increase the financial viability of the St. Louis Rehabbers Club and its programs to help ensure the mission.  These volunteers would also strategize methods to engage potential and existing Rehabbers Club members.  Action items may include:

  • Grant research and/or writing
  • Securing donations both monetary and in-kind
  • Connecting local industry leaders
  • Event planning

Programming

Under the leadership of the Programming Chair, these volunteers would develop and execute programming for the St. Louis Rehabbers Club and its members.  Action items may include:

  • Big BIG Tour
  • Classes
  • Fundraising events
  • Rehabbers Club tours
  • Holiday Party [December]
  • Partner events

We sometimes are unable to accommodate all volunteers in a committee slot.  Committees generally meet face-to-face at the Annual Meeting and communicate in between via e-mail lists.  All committee members are expected to attend the Annual Meeting and actively participate.
