Narrative Furniture is a custom furniture gallery that showcases and sells heirloom and legacy quality furniture, handmade using salvage and reclaimed wood as well as other premium varieties of hardwood. Three industry specialists will discuss the process and what to watch for when getting your building inspected. Hear from independent building inspector Charles Nance of CHN, Realtor Stephanie Noecker with Red Key Realty Leaders and glean insights form Joe Kovac, Master Code Official with the city of St. Louis Building Division.

Contractor Confidential – OCTOBER 14

Hear from a panel of contractors as they share their insights into rehabbing homes across the city. Gain insights into topics such as tuck-pointing, roofing and tips for hiring contractors. Our panel will consist of Jason Smith with JMS Contracting, Kevin Scronce with EM Harris, a tuck-pointing contractor (TBD) and Sara Levin, president of RVSTL who will moderate the panel.

Taking Design Cues from your Space – NOVEMBER 4

We will close out our class series this year with a presentation and discussion on how to design your rehab to add that personal and unique touch that is derived from the building itself. We will hear form Narrative Furniture owner, Andy Kim and Senior Interior Designer Heather Lents from JACOBS. They will share images and success from their past experiences renovating homes plus give tips on how you can up your design game in your rehab.
